Now, it is a proven fact that middle-aged adults, who regularly drink a cup of coffee, stand a lesser chance of developing dementia later in life than those who do not drink the beverage. Generally, a geriatric health problem, memory loss is picking up as a health issue with the not so young too.

A latest study has revealed that those who consume coffee regularly reduce the risk of several diseases Parkinson’s disease, cancer, Alzheimers etc. A research study concluded that people who consumed three to five cups of coffee per day were less likely to develop dementia, in comparison to those who consumed two or less than two cups of coffee.

According to experts, if on an average 2 to 3 cups of coffee is consumed everyday, the specific minerals and compounds present in coffee beans may help enhance the sensitivity of insulin receptors and thus help the body process blood sugar in a more efficient manner lowering the risk of diabetes.

The researchers have yet to determine if it is caffeine, or certain antioxidants, or some other feature about coffee that benefits the general health of any person or individual. But one thing is for sure that coffee addicts can enjoy their “bed-coffee” with absolutely no botheration!
